FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Sophie Biro is the Founder & CEO of Adelwise, a sustainable finance consultancy and independent Blue Economy Research Provider. She brings a unique holistic, bridge-building approach to the complex and fragmented Blue Economy, actively engaging with a wide range of stakeholders — including international institutions, the financial sector, corporates, philantropy and NGOs. Sophie has 25 years experience in Investment Banking in Emerging Markets and Asia based in London, Hong Kong and now Paris. Her love for the sea and its ecosystems inspired the creation of SEA GENERATION, driven by her commitment to raising awareness about marine conservation and restoration—with a strong focus on youth education and impact in Asia..

SECRETARY

Sophie is a senior executive with extensive experience in setting up, reforming, and managing companies, from Fortune 500 to small and medium enterprises, in the fields of environment services, with an emphasis on water and sewage management and sustainability. She worked 10 years in research and development and more than 20 years in business as CEO. She lived and worked in France and USA in her late twenties and has been living in Hong Kong and working in Hong Kong and mainland China since.

VICE PRESIDENT

Of Belgian origin, Frédérique discovered expatriation early in her childhood. She settled down in France to study and worked during 20 years in human resources management in investment banks and consulting firms. More recently, she lived in Brazil where she was in charge of an NGO dedicated to children education in one of the favela of São Paulo. When she got back to France, she decided to train to professional coaching in order to devote herself to what was always her driving force : help people to become more aware of one’s own resources and open up the field of what is possible. Frédérique now lives in Paris where she works as an independent executive coach.

COMMUNITY AND IMPACT LEAD

Flo is a senior sustainability advisor and entrepreneur with a global career spanning finance, consulting, and marine ecosystem restoration. Driven by a blue purpose, she bridges environmental challenges and community empowerment to protect the ocean and create local opportunities. As Vice President of Sustainability Strategy at Archireef, she leads international partnerships and projects that link ecological solutions with business resilience. Previously, she founded BRAVE in Dubai, advising nearly 100 businesses across the GCC on sustainability strategy and communications. Her work with Sea Generation reflects her deep personal commitment to ocean literacy and supporting coastal communities that depend on marine ecosystems.

MARKETING & SOCIAL NETWORK

Justine is in her third year of law school, specialised in International Relations in Paris. She is very interested in ESG issues and has done an internship with ESG Lab & Society. During her spare time, she is keen to do volunteer work: she works with Action against Hunger and has recently joined the Sea Generation team. Justine lived ten years in Madrid, before moving back to Paris.
